Parking Suggestions to Avoid Unnecessary Delays

OKLAHOMA CITY – It’s officially Oklahoma City Thunder time, and EMBARK doesn’t want you to miss a moment of the season opener because you were looking for parking. EMBARK is suggesting two parking garages close to the Chesapeake Arena as convenient, low-cost alternatives to their fast-filling Cox Convention Center Garage.

The Santa Fe Garage offers more than 1,500 parking spaces and is conveniently located at 2 Santa Fe Plaza - a short walk to the Chesapeake Arena. The public should enter through the E.K. Gaylord Street entrance and use the skywalk bridge for a less congested path to Chesapeake Arena.

The Century Center Garage offers more than 800 parking spaces and is a short stroll along the Myriad Gardens on Robinson. The garage is located at 100 W Main, or the NE corner of Sheridan and Robinson. The public may enter the garage from the Sheridan entrance.

Both garages are open to Thunder fans and the public all season long. Event parking at either garage is $8 and both garages accept cash and most major credit cards. For more information about Downtown parking options, visit Couple your parking with the free Downtown Discovery bus, and you’ll always have a spot in the front row.

Additional parking options are available at the Sheridan Walker Garage located at 501 W Sheridan on the NW corner of Sheridan and Walker; and the Arts District Garage, located at 431 W Main, between Walker and Hudson across from City Hall.
