On-Street Meter Information
EMBARK operates, maintains and manages approximately 1,500 meters in Downtown Oklahoma City. The meters are a combination of electronic and mechanical meters and there are both one and two hour meter zones.
Rates vary by meter. See rate posted on individual meters.
Individuals with a valid handicapped placard or a handicapped vehicular license plate may park at any downtown meter for free but can only park there for the posted time limit.
The meters are in effect and enforced from 7 am until 6 pm, Monday through Saturday with the exception of the following holidays:
Meter Enforcement Holidays Observed
New Years Day
Martin Luther King Jr's Birthday
The Friday after Thanksgiving
The meters accept Quarters, Dimes and Nickels and will register the appropriate proportion of time on the meter.
Parking Meter Malfunction
If a parking meter malfunctions, please report it here or call 297-1331 and advise them of the problem. Please be prepared to give the meter number and location so the meter can be checked. If using a new electronic meter, please proceed to next meter, make your payment, and place receipt on the interior driver-side windshield.
Parking Tickets are issued by the Oklahoma City Police Department. Read the Instructions on the back of the ticket about options for payment and appeal. If you receive a ticket at a malfunctioning meter, please report it here or call 297-2326 prior to your arraignment date.

Parking tickets are $15 if paid before your arraignment and $34 if paid after your arraignment date.
